2022 Recipients of the Wisconsin Visible Art Achievement Awards announced | By Jennifer Turner

 April 18, 2022 – West Bend, WI – The Museum of Wisconsin Artwork (MOWA) announces the recipients of the 2022 Wisconsin Visual Art Accomplishment Award (WVAAA). The Accomplishment Awards are awarded biennially to honor persons and companies that are considerably enriching the visual arts of the state. The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 30, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the Museum of Wisconsin Artwork in West Bend.

The 3 founding organizations—the Museum of Wisconsin Artwork, the Wisconsin Visible Artists, and the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts, and Letters—recognize educators, writers, visible artists, exhibitions, and advocates in our resourceful communities.

Every two many years, a nine-person nominations committee convenes to evaluate open up nominations and decide on the recipients in 7 classes. The awards recognize achievement at numerous levels of an artist’s career and in relevant qualified areas that are normally missed for recognition.
