“I am enthusiastic about the potential of the College of Visible Arts, particularly the job we will participate in in a recently conceived higher education that unites the artistic disciplines,” she claimed.
With acceptance from the State Council of Higher Education and learning for Virginia powerful July 1, the Higher education of Architecture, Arts, and Design aims to elevate the university’s visible and carrying out arts, structure, and architecture packages by grouping them alongside one another.
In continuing as the school’s director, Knoblauch explained she hopes to extend initiatives to add inventive voices to issue-fixing groups across campus.
“In recent decades, the creative and scholarly operate of our faculty and college students has redefined the role of the visual arts and style and design within the STEM disciplines at Virginia Tech via collaborative tasks, when at the same time expanding alternatives for all learners to participate in observe-centered visual artwork and layout activities,” she said. “I am eager to see these connections increase even more powerful in the future.”
