Fayetteville Metropolis Council concerns Dogwood Festival enjoyment

Fayetteville will give $15,000 to aid spend for the Dogwood Competition despite problems from some Town Council members about the variety of entertainment at the function.

The council determined to give the funding by a 9-1 vote at a perform session on Monday. The council questioned Sarahgrace Snipes, the festival’s govt director, to establish a prepare of motion for how the festival will offer with the council’s issues.

Councilwoman Shakeyla Ingram voted from the movement, which was built by Mayor Pro Tem Kathy Jensen.

Snipes told the council that the competition faces funds move concerns. She explained the organization is however having to pay for this year’s Dogwood Competition, which was held in April.
