First trailer for Bridgerton and Downton Abbey stars’ new movie2 min read
Sky has released the first trailer for The Colour Room, a historical drama featuring Bridgerton‘s Phoebe Dynevor, Downton Abbey‘s Matthew Goode, and The Walking Dead‘s David Morrissey.
Dynevor stars as Clarice Cliff, a working-class woman in the 1920s who bounces between jobs in different factories, constantly getting in trouble for not putting up with sexism and trying to push her creative ideas.
Eventually, her creativity and talent catch the eyes of Goode’s factory owner, Colley Shorter. Teaming up with Morrisey’s art designer Fred Ridgeway, Clarice fights to have her art recognised and for men to acknowledge that women can do whatever they put their minds to.

The trailer – which you can watch above – features brief glimpses of all of that, while also giving us a glimpse at an accident at the factory.
Following Bridgerton becoming everyone’s biggest obsession after it debuted on Netflix last year, the projects have come rolling in for the cast.
Dynevor has signed on to executive produce and potentially star in Amazon Studios’ adaptation of the novel Exciting Times, although that has led to concerns that she won’t have time in her schedule to return for season 3 of Bridgerton.
But we’re getting ahead of ourselves here, as season 2 hasn’t even debuted yet. A first look at the second season shows the focus moving to Jonathan Bailey’s older brother Anthony, as he meets a potential love interest who isn’t afraid to state her opinion.

Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for season 2 to hit the streaming service.
The Colour Room will come to cinemas, Sky Cinema and NOW on November 12.
