Mucous membranes are found in your nose, throat, bronchi, and lungs which water hydrates. Viral and bacterial infection can be prevented with proper hydration of the parts with mucous membranes.

If you want to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, then you should drink the right amounts of water each day. Water helps the heart pump blood more easily. With proper blood circulation, all the cells in your body will receive the right amounts of oxygen that they need.

Your muscles and joints will be well lubricated with proper hydration. Athletes need to drink water before, during, and after exercise so that they can avoid cramps and dehydration.

Even you skin and hair benefit from drink water since they will increase their elasticity and make them look health and fresh. Water also helps as a detoxifier which purifies the blood. Hydrating yourself properly can also help prevent or reduce acne and other dermatological and capillary problems.

It can be a challenge to drink 8 glasses of water daily. But if you do, you will soon find it becoming one of your daily habits which is very beneficial to your health.
