Visible Arts Commission

The study of visual arts offers a powerful lens by which students can higher see, evaluate and perceive the cultures that surround them. Faculty mentorship enhances college students’ aspiration for career paths in the visible arts and design, while preparing them to compete for positions within the job market or for placement in prestigious graduate packages nationally and internationally.

Students enthusiastic about a degree in visual arts have a number of degree options to select from including a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Fantastic Arts (B.F.A.), Grasp of Art (M.A.), and Master of Nice Art (M.F.A). Some colleges might supply associate levels or certificate programs.

The Gallery at Renaissance Corridor will host an opening reception on Monday, November 21st from 5-7pm, with an artist talk happening at 5:30pm. Gives opportunities for college kids to advance their knowledge and strategies regarding clay and ceramics; showcase and share skills of visiting and local artists; display pupil works.

Visible arts are forms of artwork that target creating pieces of work that mainly make use of the visible environment, while making an attempt to convey messages of emotion, ideas or data. Other alternatives embody membership within the Art Club and internships in the Visible Arts program.

We will provide workshops, exhibitions, and opportunities to Artists and the Group alike. The interdisciplinary focus of the visible arts program will encourage collaborative endeavors with theater arts, music and the neighborhood at giant. The Cade Center for Effective Arts boasts multiple pc labs, studios, images lab, darkroom and a wireless internet connection.

The Visible Arts Division and the Memorial Union Gallery at North Dakota State University are pleased to current the artworks of the Bacalaureate Graduation class of Spring 2016. You may work toward your visual and performing arts requirement. The artist promotes the exhibit to their clients, associates and the media—a Media Contact Record is offered from the Cultural Arts Division.
