Worldwide Baccalaureate®

This degree offers a common studio arts basis curriculum for college students thinking about transferring into a baccalaureate diploma program in Visual Arts. VALA is comprised of a talented pool of Local Artists working in all disciplines of the Visible Arts. Michael J. Strand, Professor and Chair of the Department of Visible Arts, has been chosen for the second annual Phi Kappa Phi Lectureship.

The Department of Visible Arts carries out UMBC’s mission as a dynamic public research university. These pupil artists will be exhibiting their most up-to-date artworks in an exhibition that will be on show within the Flakoll Gallery from November 21-December 8th.
